The Motorcycle Men’s Shed is once again collecting toys for disabled and underprivileged children as part of their 2026 Xmas Wooden Toy Project. Please see the email below from the club, which highlights the success of last year’s initiative, where hundreds of toys were gifted to children who might not otherwise have received new toys for Christmas.

This year, I hope we can join in again and contribute to this fantastic cause. If each member of our shed makes just one wooden toy, we’ll be able to donate over 130 toys together. To make things easier, the shed will set up a drop-off point inside for everyone to place their handmade toys.

Remember, this isn’t a competition—each toy, big or small, will be warmly appreciated and make a difference in a child’s life. Thank you in advance for your generosity and creativity.
